This document outlines the Terms and Conditions for scholarships and awards administered by the Volume Ventures LLC. All scholarships and awards will be referred to as ‘Scholarships’ herein.

You must read these Terms and Conditions in full. By accepting a Scholarship, it is understood that you have read and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Please note, if you are under 18 years of age, your parent or guardian must read and consent to these terms and conditions on your behalf.

Accepting Your Scholarship

Successful Scholarship applicants will receive an email detailing the Scholarship amount and payment timing. If you do not wish to accept a Scholarship that you have been offered, you should advise us immediately in writing.

Your Scholarship details may be passed on to your previous school, donors, or partner organizations (where applicable). If you do not wish for your details to be passed on, you must advise 1500 Sound Academy in writing.

If a Scholarship applicant is offered a different Scholarship from the one they applied for, it will be considered instead of, rather than in addition to, the original Scholarship. 1500 Sound Academy will only issue one Scholarship per applicant per program.

How Your Scholarship is Allocated

All Scholarship awards are to be used towards tuition only and does not include required materials, housing, or any additional expense. The sponsor of the award will send payment to 1500 Sound Academy directly. Students will see the Scholarship award as a tuition discount on their remaining bill.

You are not liable for any financial amount of your scholarship award. Should you withdraw from a program in which you received a partial scholarship, the refund calculation will be based on the details within your enrollment agreement. No refunds will apply for full scholarships.

Eligibility Requirements

All Scholarships are awarded on the basis that you will maintain an enrolled status at 1500 Sound Academy in your approved program of study. Your Scholarship may be terminated if your enrollment status changes, for example if you discontinue your studies at 1500 Sound Academy by taking a leave of absence or withdraw.

To retain your Scholarship, you must also:

• Maintain your attendance and Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) while enrolled.
• Adhere to the Academic and Administrative Policies of 1500 Sound Academy as detailed in the 1500 Sound Academy’s Course Catalog.
• Meet any additional criteria outlines in your enrollment agreement.

Scholarship Termination

1500 Sound Academy may terminate your Scholarship if you have:

• Inactive enrollment.
• Failed to meet the eligibility requirements of your Scholarship.
• Failed to meet the Scholarships Terms and Conditions.
• Failed to maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.
• Been suspended or excluded from 1500 Sound Academy or your course(s) of study; and/or
• Have provided incorrect, false, or misleading information or withheld relevant information on your Scholarship application or after receiving a scholarship offer.

Publicity and Promotion

If you are offered a Scholarship, your details including name, photograph, video, and Scholarship award may be passed on to media, the donors and/or partner organizations for promotional purposes, including but not limited to 1500 Sound Academy and Volume Ventures websites, social media channels, and print and electronic media. Additionally, the scholarship recipient may be required to participate in creating a limited amount of marketing content for the donor and /or partner organizations. This shall include video testimonials captured and edited by 1500 Sound Academy.

If you attend events held by the 1500 Sound Academy and/or Volume Ventures, photos and videos of you at the event (along with your name, school, and Scholarship), may be used for promotional purposes by the donors and/or our partner organizations, including but not limited to the 1500 Sound Academy and Volume Ventures website, social media channels, print and electronic media.

The Scholarship recipient also waives the right to inspect or approve the finished product, the advertising copy or other material that may be used in connection therewith or the use to which it may be applied.

1500 Sound Academy and/or Volume Ventures reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions for commencing and continuing scholarship holders.
