The on-campus course on DJ Essentials from renowned faculty at 1500 Sound Academy teaches DJ basics for beginners, the fundamentals of digital digging, music organization, mixing, equipment, the history of DJing as an art form, and the essentials you need to embark on a career in the industry.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Set up and operate DJ controller
- Prepare and organize tracks in Serato DJ Pro
- Download and organize music from online resources
- Utilize digital audio effects to manipulate audio files
- Use DJ techniques to seamlessly blend tracks in a mix
