Aspiring DJs set out to learn the intricacies of DJ hardware, software, and techniques that take their sets to new heights. 1500 Sound Academy's CDJs and Mixers course explores the world of CDJs and mixers, shedding light on essential technical skills.
You will learn how to use an audio mixer and gain the necessary technical skills throughout this course for any performance. The topics covered range from DJ hardware configuration and playlist preparation to hot cues and beat syncing using Pioneer CDJ 3000s and Pioneer DJM 750MK2 DJ Mixers.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
Analyze and prepare tracks in Rekordbox
Configure CDJs and operate industry-standard DJ equipment
Mix using audio effects on the Pioneer DJM-750MK2
Troubleshoot common problems with CDJs and mixers

DJ Fundamentals
DJ Fundamentals kick-starts an aspiring DJ’s career faster than any other program in Los Angeles. Students of this program are ready for paid gigs after only three months of learning and practice. Beginner, aspiring or intermediate DJs are a great fit for this program. All elements of DJing are covered, such as controllers, CDJs & mixers, DJ Performance, going live on Twitch, music business and DJ branding.
There are two Enrollment Options:
Full Program (6 Courses). The full program costs $12,500 and includes six courses.
Individual Course(s). Choosing individual courses costs $2,250 per course.
Each course within the program is four weeks long. Enrollment in the entire program is six months in duration. DJ Fundamentals courses are not offered online. Partial VA Benefits may be applied to the DJ Fundamentals program. Financing options are available.
