Whether it's performing at lively festivals, packed clubs, hosting intimate private parties or corporate events, or even captivating virtual audiences through live streams, how well you perform determines the overall experience for your audience.
At 1500 Sound Academy's innovative DJ Performance Course, we explore all essential aspects of putting on an amazing show to help you elevate your set in any given scenario by providing you with an education and industry knowledge beyond technical proficiency. We firmly believe that understanding DJ etiquette is pivotal to establishing yourself as a true professional. Therefore, we cover every detail of engaging with your audience and maintaining an enthralling DJ stage presence.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
Prepare DJ sets that are over an hour in length
Conduct and present themselves accordingly in different performance environments
Record, edit, and release full mixes
Live stream performances on different platforms
Practice performances for festivals, private parties, corporate events and club

DJ Fundamentals
DJ Fundamentals kick-starts an aspiring DJ’s career faster than any other program in Los Angeles. Students of this program are ready for paid gigs after only three months of learning and practice. Beginner, aspiring or intermediate DJs are a great fit for this program. All elements of DJing are covered, such as controllers, CDJs & mixers, DJ Performance, going live on Twitch, music business and DJ branding.
There are two Enrollment Options:
Full Program (6 Courses). The full program costs $12,500 and includes six courses.
Individual Course(s). Choosing individual courses costs $2,250 per course.
Each course within the program is four weeks long. Enrollment in the entire program is six months in duration. DJ Fundamentals courses are not offered online. Partial VA Benefits may be applied to the DJ Fundamentals program. Financing options are available.
